Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In this introductory session that is part theory and part practice, the focus will be on how to start creating a taxonomy. Following a presentation of taxonomy basics and techniques to get started and some case examples by the author of The Accidental Taxonomist, there will be an interactive component of working together to build a small taxonomy with audience input.

Program Take-aways:

  1. Learn the basics of what a taxonomy is.

  2. Get some actual experience choosing taxonomy terms and along the way, learn common pitfalls.
