PAM Division tour of TRIUMF and the Rose Garden at the University of British Columbia (UBC)
The day begins with a tour of TRIUMF, Canada's national laboratory for particle and nuclear physics, followed by a no-host lunch at "Sage" (http://sage.ubc.ca/) restaurant and ending with a self-guided walk of the Rose Garden and other facilities on UBC campus.
Transportation to TRIUMF, between locations, and back to the starting location will be provided.
The tour of TRIUMF and the Rose Garden will require walking.
Leave downtown (Marriott Pinnacle) at 9:00am and return 4:00 pm by chartered bus.
